Construction and Development
The April 2015 Nepal earthquake killed nearly 9,000 people and injured nearly 22,000. It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake. Hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless with entire villages destroyed, across many districts of the country.
Since Nepal has little ability to fund a major reconstruction effort on its own, our projects are focused on initiatives within our local communities, which have needs around the building and renovating homes and rebuilding basic
infrastructure in mountain villages.
The majority of schools in Nepal are in rural areas and they lack basic physical infrastructure. Schools also lack paints inwall, decoration etc. We with help of our volunteers paint schools and decorate them which results in the creation of an engaging environment and sound psychology for students. Putting educational arts also help students learn faster and better.
